The reserve is built on reclaimed land on the river plate and is about 360-hectares (890-acres) in area. It is packed with plants and creatures typical of the region, where you can relax with a beautiful view of the river. Paths for walkers and cyclists (bikes are for hire at the entrance) crisscross the park and the avid bird watchers will be pleased to know there are many viewing platforms from which to watch the numerous species of native birds.
