This haven of arts is also known as Studebaker Building. The interior features beautiful art nouveau motifs and murals from the 19th century. This became an “arts center” in 1917. There are offices, shops, theatres, art galleries, artist’s lofts, dance and recording studios, musical-instrument makers, and other art related businesses in this building. The lobby is worth walking through because of its marble and wood composition.
