With a population of approximately 1.1 million, Dublin is the largest city in Ireland. Over the past few years Dublin has evolved into Europe’s hub of art, culture and music. Every street boasts of trendy cafes, restaurants serving fusion cuisine, organic juice bars, pubs, hi-end boutiques and a lot more. Currently, the economy of Ireland is doing extremely well and is averaging an economic growth of 9 percent each year and Dublin is the proof of it all. Each year new festivals are added to the calendar, each one unique in its own way. Dublin is home to icons of literature; Oscar Wilde and Jonathan Swift; the setting for Joyce’s works; and is also home to Nobel laureates such as William Butler Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw.
