Kuala Lumpur in a Day

(1 vote, average 1.00 out of 5)

Kuala Lumpur in a Day Kuala Lumpur is such an overwhelmingly beautiful city, that it is impossible to  do justice to it in a day. You can however capture at least some of its beauty in just one day. We recommend you start your trip from the Golden Triangle, known as KL's commercial, shopping, and entertainment hub. While at the Golden Triangle, you must make a stop at the Petronas Towers and check out the formerly tallest building in the world.

Afterwards, make your way toward Chinatown and stop in Masjid Jamek (Friday Mosque), which is the oldest mosque in KL. This neighborhood also holds the Central Market, which is a perfect place to do some souvenir shopping. You should also take a break here and stop in one of the many delicious Chinese eateries.

If you have some extra time, then head over to Merdeka Square ('Independence Square'), the place where the Malayan Flag was hung for the first time. While here, you can stop in at the National Museum and get acquainted with some Malaysian history.
