Image If you want to escape city life but still want to feel the movement of people, then head over to Bangsar, a much sought after residential and entertainment suburb in the Klang Valley.

Bangsar is a great place to retreat from the city and have a delicious and pleasant meal. With its wide array of cuisines, you will definitely find something to meet the demands of your palate. Bangsar has a good selection of Chinese, Indian, Malay, Japanese, Korean, thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, American, and European restaurants.

A good place to visit is the Telawi area in Bangsar Baru that is often referred to as “the strip" Akin to Singapore's Holland Village, this strip can be walked on foot in about 15 minutes and has many dining venues.

Another place to visit when in Bangsar is the pasar malam (“night market"), which is held every Sunday and sells a variety of items at reasonable prices, though do not forget to bargain.
