The best new films from around the world are showcased at the London Film Festival which is UK's largest public film event. This is organized by the British Film Institute and sponsored by The Times newspaper. Films in various categories are screened at different venues around the city. In some cases, the director of the film gives a brief introduction to the film and after the screening, viewers are encouraged to ask anything about in a question/answer session.
