Parc du Mont Royal

(0 votes, average 0 out of 5)

ImageThe largest public park in Montreal, bordering the historic Mount Royal after which the city is named. Designed in the 1880s, this park is iconic of the city. Contains lush green open spaces, walking paths, cycling tracks, a ski slope, an artificial lake, an interpretation center for visitors, and a beautiful sculpture display garden. Cultural and athletic activities are also organized in the park form time to time. But apart from all, the park is a great place to get in touch with nature in any season of the year! Whether it is the fresh bloom of the wild flowers in spring, the fiery orange autumn foliage stretching over the horizon, or the snow capped peak of Mount Royal, the park is the ultimate escape to nature for all.
