New Delhi in a Day

(0 votes, average 0 out of 5)

ImageOne day, while not enough to see all of Delhi's sites in detail, can be effectively used to take in a significant feel of the place.

If you only have a day to spend in New Delhi, it is recommended that you spend the bulk of your time in Central Delhi.

First you should start off at Rajpath, the road previously known as  known as “King's Way" and enjoy this scenic route with all the governmental buildings including the Parliament House of India.Rashtrapati Bhavan, a majestic and grand palace that is arguably larger than Versailles, is also on this route. Afterwards, you should visit the National Gallery of Modern Art, which houses 20th century Indian art at the India Gate. Then, end your day at the Dillli Haat, a bazaar considered the best in Delhi where you will be able to buy plenty of reasonably priced souvenirs.
