Metropolitan Museum

(0 votes, average 0 out of 5)

ImageMost famously referred to as 'The Met' , this magnificent museum hosts more than two million pieces of art that spans over 5,000 years of culture. Moreover, some of its 2,500 paintings include Vermeers, Rembrandts, Impressionists, and Post-Impressionists. Other works display Renaissance, African, Asian, and Islamic art. Furthermore, its Egyptian collection is said to be the most impressive outside of Cairo. Yet, though The Met is a wonder to behold, it is nearly impossible  to see everything in one visit. In order to do justice to the museum, you should plan and space out your time.
