City in a Day

(0 votes, average 0 out of 5)

ImageBegin the day with a breakfast at any of the pavement café’s in the Old Town and then grab a bus to make your way to the Royal Palace. Take your time to stroll through the palace and then head on to Djurgården as a little treat for the kids, and be sure to check out the Vasa Museum!
From there, proceed to Norrmalm for some window-shopping and grab a quick lunch from any of the fine restaurants or pavement café’s there. Grab a metro and head over to the Kista in the Western Suburbs of the city and then proceed to Vällingby, the first planned suburbs of Europe and enjoy a stroll there, admiring the Swedish architecture at its best. Then head over to the Kistagallerian for some more shopping. Dinner time should be near when you’re done with your shopping so head back to Gamla Stan or the lower Norrmalm area to bring the day to a close with a nice dinner at the Mistral or at the Operakällaren.
