If you are planning a trip this winter be sure to check out Dizin. This is a great ski resort just two hours drive from Tehran and has excellent powdery snow. The skiing is spectacular. The instructors are great and best of all inexpensive. So what is the down side? There is not much to do after the skiing is over. So take a book along. But the place is definitely worth giong to.

Iran is opening up to the world and very soon Dizin will be on the itinerary of every skiing fan. Get there before the crowds build up. The best time to go is from December to March.
