There was a FAKE news circulating that the UAE authorities have stopped issuing visas to Pakistanis. The UAE Immigration Department has denied this. So, all those planning to visit Dubai for celebrating the New Year are welcome. Remember, this year there will be no fireworks at Burj al Arab only a light display so it is best to make a beeline for the talest building in the world - Burj Khalifa.

The best time to get to the venue is before 6pm. After that all the choice spots are gone. Restaurants are selling tables for extremely high rates so do not expect to have a ringside seat without coughing out $$s.
