Its other Skytrax honors include: best business class, best airline in the Middle East, best onboard catering- business class and the staff service excellence award- Middle East.

Cathay Pacific is the main carrier for Hong Kong with its hub at Hong Kong International Airport. Its fleet consists of 126 aircrafts- Airbus A330s, A340s, Boeing 747s and 777s- that conduct flights to 114 destinations in 36 countries. Cathay Pacific was also named best transpacific airline by Skytrax.

 

5 - Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand, which is based in Auckland, New Zealand, provides flights to 27 domestic destinations and 26 international destinations in 14 countries. It is the only airline to have an around the globe route.
