6 - Etihad Airways


Based in Abu Dhabi International Airport, Etihad is the flag carrier airline of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It has been one of the fastest growing airlines since it began operations in 2004, though it has yet to make a profit. The three classes are known as the Diamond Zone (first class), Pearl Zone (business class) and Coral Zone (economy class). Its Diamond Zone was awarded world’s best first class, best airline seat and best onboard catering by Skytrax.

Qantas Airways has its hub at Sydney Airport as Australia’s largest airline. Founded in 1920 in Queensland, it is the world’s longest continuously operating airline and it is also one of the most profitable airlines in the world. Thai Airways International, the national carrier of Thailand, is based in Suvarnabhumi Airport.
