Zurich today
Zurich is the financial and cultural capital of Switzerland. There are several famous banks here, thus making it the city of bankers. It is also home to several top-notch universities making it the hub of all kinds of research. There are countless art galleries, museums and opera houses which  host events on a regular basis. This basically means the city is quite active, with dozens of events one can attend on a regular basis.
